Clothing Swap // Adoption Fund-raiser!

I will admit, I am a lover of clothes...probably to a fault! But I love that, around here, it's easy to get some great clothes at lesser prices if you're creative! One of my favorite places to go is the local thrift shop (and I was joking with a friend yesterday, but...I thought it was great before it became the cool thing to do, aka 'poppin' tags'...and sorry but here's the clean version if you're around kids!!) Yeah, they might be making fun of people like me, but I still think it's pretty cool :)Another awesome way to refresh the closet without spending much is Clothing Swaps! So...some friends and I are doing a BIG clothing swap to raise money for our adoption. We are finished with (and passed!) the home study! Now we are finishing up training and a few more papers for the dossier. Then...we wait for 'the match'. In the mean-time, we're thinking of creative ways to raise the remaining money for our adoption. We have been so amazed at the ways God has provided so far. Just the other day, a girl I had just met told me she was given some money and was asked to pray about who it was supposed to go to. After sharing with her about our story, she felt like that money was supposed to go to us to bring home our kids. I was so amazed and grateful, that God would connect two strangers and provide over $600 additional towards our adoption.
