He Gathers.
We've had a few bumps in the road. This is to be expected with the journey of adoption. As I was thinking about you today, beloveds, and wishing we were closer to meeting you, I remembered what I hold on to...WHO I hold on to. God promises that He makes everything beautiful in it's time. That He is in control over time and space, circumstance and place, over every person that He calls His own. I want this process to be in His time, because my human limitations prevent me from knowing the BIG PICTURE- the picture that involves all life and each little important step that needs to happen. It can be frustrating to live life knowing that some things are completely out of our control...even some of the most important things. And in reality, all things. But what a joy and peace to know that ALL THINGS are in His hands. It might sound cliche but it doesn't matter to me. It's completely true and I know it from His word and from my life's experience."He is before all things, and in him all things hold together."He also says this, and it gives me such excitement and promise:“Do not be afraid, for I am with you. I will gather you and your children from east and west. I will say to the north and south, ‘Bring my sons and daughters back to Israel from the distant corners of the earth". (Isaiah 43:5, 6)
